Mumbai : In a clear snub to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, legendary singer Asha Bhosle said that Hindustan belongs to all and all people in the country have rights to come to Mumbai.
Asha Bhosle made this comment in the presence of Raj Thackeray during a cultural evening organized on Sunday by a Marathi Television Channel in Mumbai.
“People are bound to flock to Mumbai as Hindustan belongs to all. Those who work hard here become prosperous. I also worked in my field with determination to earn success. I have sung in all Indian languages but I am a proud Maharashtrian”, said Asha Bhosle.
“No one can snatch the job of a man who works in Mumbai from morning to evening”, she further added, when asked if the exodus is causing any problems in Mumbai.
Raj Thackeray praised Ash Bhosle for her mult-talent and acknowledged that she has made Maharashtra proud by reaching out to evry nook and corner of the country.
