Hyderabad, March 12: The TD chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu’s, convoy was involved in an accident near Alampur in Mahabubnagar district here on Friday.
Mr Naidu and other members in the convoy are safe. Mr Naidu’s car and two others following it were slightly damaged.
The incident occurred near Alampur while Mr Naidu was on the way to Rajoli, one of the worst flood-hit areas. He shifted from a bus, that was carrying TD and Left leaders, to a bullet-proof car following request from his security.
The mishap occurred with one of the convoy vehicles braked suddenly to avoid a pothole, causing other cars to ram into it.
Mr Naidu later reached Rajoli and met the flood victims living in make shift tenements. He lambasted the government for tardy relief measures and its failure to provide houses as promised.
