Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday got a surprising invitation from women ministers of the Rosaiah cabinet.
Two ministers Galla Aruna Kumari and Sunitha Lakshma Reddy went to Naidu’s chamber in the assembly and extended an invitation to him for attending a dinner they are hosting on March 25 to celebrate the passage of women’s bill in Rajya Sabha. Particularly, Aruna Kumari, a staunch opponent of Naidu in Chandragiri constituency, thanked Naidu for extending support to the women’s bill.
A smiling Naidu accepted their invitation. It is for the first time that media persons could see such a close encounter between Galla and Naidu. It is a different matter that Naidu would definitely skip the dinner, because he had never attended any government function.
