ICC Champions Trophy Schedule unveiled

Mumbai: The ICC Champions Trophy 2009 schedule has been unveiled. Defending champion Australia, Pakistan and India are placed in the same group, making the battle very interesting and tough. West Indies is also in the same group. The ICC Champions Trophy will be held in South Africa . The tournament will begin on September 22 and will conclude with the Grand Finale on October 5.

In total, eight teams will take part in the ICC Champions Trophy 2009. All eight teams were divided into two groups – Pool A and Pool B. All matches will be held in two venues Wanderers in Johannesburg and Centurion in Pretoria. This year’s Champions Trophy will have a record prize money of US $4 million.
