IIM-Ahmedabad Student tested positive for Swine Flu

Ahmedabad: Panic gripped the IIM-A campus, as a girl student of the country’s premier B-school, tested positive for Swine Flu. The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), was put on high alert after the latest development. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) held a meeting with IIM-A authorities and asked them to necessary steps to prevent the disease from spreading further in the campus.

The girl had gone to her home in Delhi, when the test reports were received. She is currently in Delhi and was put under observation.

A close watch has been kept over other eight girls, who shared the room with her inside the IIM-A hostel. The IIM-A authorities have been advised to take necessary precaution and create awareness among students.
