Infosys gets 5-year Outsourcing Deal from BP Group

New Delhi: Infosys Technologies has signed a five-year outsourcing deal with the BP Group, which is considered as one of the world’s major oil and gas companies. However, Infosys did not reveal about the financial details of the deal. This agreement will enable BP to reduce complexity, standardise work processes, and lower overall cost base.

The outsourcing deal between Infosys and BP was part of BP’s new initiative to consolidate its information technology vendors for Application Development and Application Maintenance (ADAM).
