Date extended for renewal of post-matric scholarships

HYDERABAD: The government has extended the last date for online application and submission of post-matric scholarships (renewal) by students belonging to the minority community to September 15.

The government had set the earlier deadline as August 31 but extended it following requests from students and parents. However, there is no change in the last date for online application and submission for post-matric scholarships (fresh) and they should be submitted by September 30, a release by the AP State Minorities Finance Corporation said.

It said there was no truth in reports that the website of APSMFC was closed down and students could submit their online applications without any difficulty. The students and college managements should ensure that the applications forms for both fresh and renewal categories reach the office of Executive Director, APSMFC of respective districts on or before the given last dates.
